With a strong background in commercial roles within a multinational organization, I have had the opportunity to travel internationally and collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds. This experience has shaped my strategic and leadership skills while fostering a global perspective.
My journey with ICS began as a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Trustees, where I had the privilege of supporting an organization dedicated to empowering adults with learning disabilities and autism to live independently within their communities. Sharing my commercial and strategic expertise in the third sector for the first time was both rewarding and inspiring, igniting my passion for this field.
When the opportunity arose to become CEO of ICS, I felt a natural alignment with the role and its mission. My focus is to build upon the organization’s strong foundation, expand its impact across the West Midlands, and deliver truly exceptional, person-centred care. I am committed to ensuring that clients, families, and advocates have confidence in ICS as a trusted provider of lifelong support.
After qualifying as a personal secretary and working at various job locations, Christine was asked to become a trustee of ICS in 1997. As a trustee, she met a lot of our staff and clients either at the residential homes or at functions that were held at various locations throughout the year and this enabled Christine to appreciate the work carried out by the company.
Christine joined the company to work at our Head Office in April 2010 and the knowledge she had gained during her period as a trustee helped her understand the complexity of working in care.
Since 2014, Christine has worked as the Finance and Office Manager and enjoys the varied day to day jobs this entails.
